If anyone could help me find some relevant sources, I’d be grateful. I’m an industrial design student, attempting to enrich my free time with more design.

I like Sketch-fresh https://www.instagram.com/sketchfresh/
Nick Baker https://www.instagram.com/nickpbaker/
And of course Husdon Rio https://www.instagram.com/hudsonriodesign/
Where are you studying? I’m currently a junior Industrial Design Student at AppState with a concentration in furniture design (check out my barebones website johntl.com ). I’m also currently involved with my school’s Solar Car team. I’ve had to do some math and learn about aerodynamics but it’s been fun so far. Car design is tough to get into though, but don’t let that stop you. It’s good to see you’re trying to better yourself in your free time, it’s really the way you get good at this.
I’m still pretty trash at sketching, but over summer I did a sketch-a-day account where I just took an hour everyday to do a sketch. Definitely helped, still have to work on rendering though. https://www.instagram.com/lalevee_sketch/
If you want to talk design or have any questions, or want critiques don’t hesitate to contact me through my website.

Carbodydesign and formtrends are good ones. CBD is pretty much the last one that doesn’t require a membership. Formfreu.de is also great.

Ha! Hudson Rio was my teacher last semester, and he got me going with the autocross club he runs with. I did a ride along with him the first event we were both at car (he’s a fierce miata driver). I’m in Chicago at UIC, currently sophomore in the program. The director of ID there said the same about Autodesign, and the same in that not to turn away if I’m serious; which I guess I’m still debating. Ideally I’d love to work for a major player, but I’d also love to have my own aftermarket studio. I’m crap at car concepting currently, which is why I’ve turn to oppo to seek resources. I’m decent at sketching and rendering, getting better. I’ll definitely look into those that you linked for me as well as yours. Down to talk design, too!
